Qstarz BT-Q1000P Bluetooth data transfer on a Mac
I picked up a Qstarz BT-Q1000P some time back. Overall, a nice piece of equipment. The only drawback is the lack of native Mac software support. While it is possible to run the Windoze software under Fusion/Parallels on the Mac, I managed to find a true Mac solution, low cost to boot.
Full details are at http://stngiam.wordpress.com/2008/12...er-with-a-mac/ but essentially you use BT747 to download the data, and then GPS Photo Linker to geotag the photos (including RAW format).
Despite what the manual says, the BT-Q1000P is in fact capable of downloading logs over Bluetooth. Alternatively, you can also install Mac USB drivers and use USB.
