Here to organize JBOG Mar'2013 : East Malaysia - Kota Kinabalu, Semporna (Mar 27th ~ April 2 Yr2013)


Semporna and its surrounding islands, are one of the best places for photography. You may refer to Melynnyeo's thread, lots of good pictures he captured there



This is a non-profit outing, est cost will be announced via email or drop me PM. Those who came to JBOG before, would know my style is to keep the cost affordable , without sacrifice much on quality to have fun/good food.



Travel Date : Mar 27th 2013 to Apr 2nd 2013
Airline : AirAsia is now running a promotion , no idea when it would end. Basic ticket (without meal, insurance, seat selection, check in luggage) for 4 flights (SG - KK , KK - Tawau ) all in are around SGD140.
Group : 6 pax (max)



Tentative Itinerary :

27th : Depart Changi ; Arrive KK late evening , dinner at Filipino Night Market

28th : Sapi, Manukan Island Hopping

29th : Visit Monsopiad Cultural Village , Evening flight to Tawau , arrive Semporna

30th, 31st, 1st : We would rent a private boat to charter around island to vist

2nd : Semporna to Tawau, KK, Changi


*JBOG (JB outing group) is a jalan/makan/shot around outing that was started Sep2011 to bring small group of CS members to JB for day, and eventually emerged to a regular monthly outing. We’ve been to many parts of JB, Johor and also overseas trip. The participants are a good mix of like-minded gentleman and ladies with a passion for NOT ONLY photography but also to make friends, to have fun and most importantly to have good food.

Please take a minute to read the terms and conditions before you like to register


- Register only for yourself. No girlfriends/boyfriends, husbands/wives , children/relative and your village of friends tagging along for a holiday unless he/she is also CS member and photographer him/herself
- JBOG 1st timer : minimum 3 months history at Clubsnap or with minimum 50 counts
- JBOG oldbird : Good contribution from previous outing
- No halfway join or halfway have to go back home, but you can choose to arrive early or extend the trip
- Be prepared to have some physically challenging, lots of time under the sun
- Good sense of humor and a team member, spirit of give and take
- If the boat flip, you will be able to swim and survive

Once you are confirmed to join us, PM me and you have to buy your own air ticket. Your air ticket is your registration with us. We want to take adv of the current air ticket promotion and no idea when it would run out.

LOL..sure you can. and it is not too late to sign up swimming lesson up.
bear in mind that we would be travelling around Semporna island by boat, if u feel comfortable and safe.

when we have 6 people, then we are closed. since we are doing this as cost sharing basis, the only commitment we want from participant is your air ticket. once you bought the air ticket, u are with us.

costing are not allowed to be posted on the thread under CS guideline. PM for more info.
