My friend bought me one from china and it comes with a lens cap.
Anyone interested? If there's more than 10 I can do a pre order. Price is $20.

It's very well made, far better than the Korea one. It fits perfectly, looks great. I feel it belongs there in the first place

X10 Newbie here... Feel glad there's so many x10 users here... would like to ask some accessories advice from all the sifus here!
Have been sourcing for various accessories for the x10 in Malaysia... but there's only one place that carries it...and it's kinda pricey..
is there a one-stop centre over in SG that carries most of the x10 stuffs (thumbsgrip,LCD protector and etc...)? or most of the items are ordered thru ebay?

Hi, welcome to X10 club.

There isn't one shop with all the accessories. Some are only available through eBay or other sites.

But most of the shops featured here will have a selection. You can contact them first before going down. http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/virtual-shops/

mogwai : thank you so much for the info... i was in SG over the weekend and dropby sgcamerastore to pick up some items (3rd party 40.5mm lens cap, 40mm hercules uv filter, lens cap attachment and the Hercules screen protector).. just noticed when i add the 40mm filter and the lens cap attachment, the stock fujifilm leather case wasnt able to cover the x10 as it used to be.. and everytime i remove the front flap of the leather case.. the 3rd lens cap seems to be stuck to the leather casing...and the lens cap kinda partially stuck halfway between the flap and the leather casing.. would it damage the lens if this goes on (apologies for the noob questions)?

Yups, with filter and lens cap on, the stock fujifilm leather case can't be used. Not sure if it'll cause any damage but it certainly is very 'forced' trying to get it in. I'd recommend not using them together. Since i gotten the filter and lens cap, I only use the bottom half of the leather case. The idea of getting the combo was so that I don't have to fiddle with the front flap of the leather case and miss a shot.

I have been catching up with my reading here but will like to know if there is any problem with using the original lens cap with the 40.5 filter? Wonder if I should get a 40mm or 40.5... MS Color only carry the latter.

All not 40/40.5mm filter fits the X10. You might want to consider the Nisi 40mm MC filter which fits perfectly and the original lens cap can still be used. Some of the local shops like Artworkfoto and Red Dot Photo carries the filter if you are interested.
