Today, I was asked by Edwin (blue frog) to do a test shoot on sailor moon theme. Before the shoot, he didn’t show me the uniform and didn’t inform me to bring my own sets of clothes to change just in case the uniform was not the right size. I was really looking forward to the shoot, but I didn’t know this stupid photographer just make my day. When I reached there, I was asked to change into the uniform. I tried and realize that the skirt was bloody short that my undies can be seen even standing up. I understand model should be more daring and more open minded. But in the first place, he should had told me, how the uniform is like so I can prepare my boxers to wear today. I changed back to my own clothes and went out to tell him that the skirt was really very short and he keep forcing and insisting that I MUST wear it. I tried my best not to make a scene and explain to him nicely. But still he keep pestering me to wear and even asked me to wear the nurse uniform when he knows that its very short?! Then, he said since I’m already at clarke quay why not do a fashion shoot with him. I don’t get what’s wrong with my outfit seriously. I wore a tanktop with a big baggy shirt, a legging and a heels which is really the trend now and I don’t know why, he keep wanting me to wear a tanktop and a miniskirt and he said that my outfit is not nice?! Anyway, he went to ask his previous china model to lend me her skirt and she was rushing off too, but bluefrog keep insisting her to lend me… And guess what? After the shoot, we were negotiating the price for the shoot and I asked for $40 for one hour of sexy Japanese sailor moon theme and another hour for fashion but he said its too high and said he only can give me 20 for the whole of 2HOURS group shoot even if there’s a lot of photographers shooting and he said he’s going to charge each photographer 20?! So isn’t he earning more than me when he had to do nothing but to make me angry?

Another incident happens during October when, bluefrog asked me to go to Arab Street’s studio for bridal test shoot. He told me that I’ll be the main model for the bridal group shoot and it was one day notice before the actual test shoot in the bridal shop. When I reached the place, I realized that the place is a studio instead of a bridal shop though there is just a few piece of wedding gown. What I am really angry about is, that during the test shoot I was asked to sign a form stating that I will not receive any pictures from the studio when bluefrog told me the day before that I will get to keep a lot of photos taken by the PRO photographers. And next is that, after the shoot, he told me that the group shoot was cancelled?! How can a group shoot be cancel just like that when I already went for the test shoot and he even confirmed that I’m the main model? And I DON’T GET PAID FOR WASTING ALMOST 6HOURS for this shoot?


I didn’t want to make a big fuss of it but because after today’s shoot I feel so sad and pissed off, I went to complain to my photographer friends and I got to know about an ex-organizer called Artemis. And I remember that bluefrog once told me that his old nick is Artemis, a very successful organizer which will help a lot models to be famous, and even now he is using a china girl named APPLE to help him answer phone whenever people called the number in clubsnap’s photoshoot thread to check for details. Everyone please be careful! Artemis is BLUEFROG and his real name is Edwin! Would you thought of it's more worthwhile to view others photographers pictures who have shoot them eventhough it come across that some of your favorite models that you intend to shoot?

Or just viewing those model pictures online and if want to shoot potraits just ask your girlfriend, sister or friend for shooting?

1) It's indoor, so the shutter speed is likely to be low. Every bit of stability helps, even though the camera has in-built stabilisation. Holding such a large weight so far away from the body can't be steady at all.
2) I think he looks a bit silly holding a DSLR like that.

Well, for me, I will think twice before parking in a risky carpark like in 6 Ave, Serene Centre or Coronation.

Maybe, there should be signboard to warn motorist of flooding risk in those basement carpark.
