Event: Breitling Jet Team in Singapore!

The renowned and sought-after Breitling Jet Team, which is one of the world’s foremost professional civilian aerial aerobatics performance team, will be making its first ever appearance in Singapore. This stopover is part of a Southeast Asia tour and the seven jets will perform in a public display over the skies at Sentosa.

Event: Breitling Jet Team Aerobatics Display
Date: 9 March 2013 (Saturday)
Venue: Siloso Beach, Sentosa (very near Wavehouse)
Time: 2pm (start time dependent on weather conditions)
Cost: Free and open to public but admission charges to Sentosa Island applies

Feel free to come down to watch and take some pictures! Do note that as personal vehicles are not allowed into the Siloso Beach area, the nearest car park is located at Beach Station. See you guys there!

The Jets should be in the air by 2pm, and the entire display should last 18 minutes; meaning that if you wish to take photographs, you should come before 2pm! As mentioned earlier, as the event is around the Wavehouse area, you should be able to get better shots over there.

I guess the best time to enter Siloso beach is ard 12pm or earlier cos based on what I've experienced during the Flutag last year, it took me more than 1 hr plus just to reach the beach by monorail...and by then it's fully crowded..

radio station kiss92 says they are stationed at seletar. there's a dj going to take a flight with them this morning, probably can see some action near seletar.

Breitling Jet Team to fly over Siloso Beach this weekend

Aviation enthusiasts have a chance to catch the aerobatic antics of the Breitling Jet Team this weekend.

First formed in 2003, the Breitling Jet Team is the largest professional civilian aerobatics team in Europe, comprising of seven men with over 50,000 hours of flight time between them.

The team will perform a 20 to 25-minute display of aerobatics in the skies above Siloso Beach in Sentosa at 2 pm on March 9. It is the team's maiden performance in Singapore.

Previously having performed at locations all over Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Lebanon, the team is now flying across Southeast Asia as part of a five-week tour. Singapore marks their third stop after the Philippines and Indonesia.
