U just bought today? Did u check if u are gonna get the crumpler bag w online warranty registration? According to canon flyer, the bag is only for purchases made between 10 to 13 mar, and must be redeemes by 16 mar.

As long as buy btw those days, think redeem later also can. I am worried by the time i receive the camera, crumpler fully redeemed.

Did the staff tell u u gonna get it end mar, early apr?

i never ask so much.
anyway i bought it at a price lower lo, how much is the crumper bag?

i go to the servicing status to check the date 1.

the CSO tell me within a few days will get liao... so i am not sure which 1 to trust. so take it as end of Mar lo. come earlier is a bonus

Am i right to say that u press the flash release button located just under the flash and the flash didnt pop up? Which mode are you in or have u tested with?

In terms of maintenance, yea..The R6 is almost similar to the RVF.haha

What mode did you set it to? Not all modes can manually get the flash to pop up.

Even the 2 page Quick Reference Guide tells you how to record a video.

thanks to all who replied. i kept trying to google for the right thing and it seems that the problem was with the hotshoe! the cam seems to think that there was an external flash there so the flash refused to pop no matter which mode (non-auto) i tried.

well, it's a fortunate thing that i prefer pictures taken without flash. guess it'll be lehcheh a little when i decide to use flash.

Intend to get my 600D real soon. Will the PPP be cheaper than MS color etc.? And, if lets say I were to buy from MS color, do I still need to go keppel tower to collect the free gifts by Canon? Thanks!
