7D body with lens choose

I want to know about in 7d body which lens is suitable for fashion and portrait photography? I used the 24-105mm f4L . I will buy 50mm 1.8.
i want to buy some more lens for shooting fashion and model photos including portrait ... which L lens is suitable for that 7D body?

Depends on your style really... can consider getting 70-200. What do you find lacking in 24-105 anyway. You don't need 'L' to shoot fashion.

I agree with the 70-200... great lens for fashion and portrait. You can also consider the 85mm lens which is often paired with a crop for fashion/portraiture.

Yes... L lens is sometime overrated, you really don't need them... but I support the idea of getting the 70-200mm f2.8L (IS or non-IS is up to you).

Plus none of us know what type of portraits shots you are interested in... full body, half body, or just facial shoot? There are reviews that the 85L, 135L are all excellent portrait lens too... and heck... I even saw 1 guy with a 300mm f2.8L lens that shoot portrait shots in the open too.

i shoot with 24-105mm ... this lens is very good lens. vey sharpest .. but i don't like shoot with f4. cannot blur background.. in the evening and night ... f4 cannot give enough

Yes the 70-200 f/2.8 IS (or non-IS) is an excellent lens for fashion portraiture and provides enough flexibility for face, half and full body shots.

70-200mm f2.8L is an excellent choice. It give you very sharp pics and was pretty flexible.

However, depending on yourself and the subject you are shooting, even a f4 could achieve blurred background. Frankly, you need to read up more on DOF and the its relationship to your distance.

I know that many portraiture photographer actually shoot at f5.6 to f8 or more. Plus blurred background is pretty easy to achieve... you can actually photoshop that effect if needs be. I would rather my entire subject stay sharp, rather than part of her/him was sharp and part was not.
