Just gotten mine from CP @ MS, Patrick for $5200 nett regardless cash or cc installment. Using ocbc for 24mths payment. Checked out TK, J316, AP, SLRR, etc.. CP still the best price; understand offer valid till end of month. Btw, it's not from batch 1 or 2 (mine is batch 6) so no worries if you were wondering abt the LCD light leak issue

After the end of the month, what does the price revert back to?
Does this also apply to the body only price of $3999? Will it increase after the end of the month?

Haa.. Not sure, their staff don't know too. If i know it's gonna be cheaper next month, i would have waited.
IMO I think if you feel that this is a reasonable price, I suggest you not to wait further; doubt there will e double price reduction in such a short period of time.
The $4K price for body should apply too since it seems that their list price is revised fortnightly or monthly

Any one has issue using those chipped Nikon to Canon adaptor on the 5D mk III?
I can't get mine to work, while they were ok on the 5D classic.

I have myself an x100. You might consider. Am also purchasing either a Canon QL 17 or a Konica Auto S2.

Wow !!!!!!!!!
I'm still waiting for the M too.
In the meanwhile, I've just bought the Zorki 4 and bid for a Yashica Electro 35 GSN from eBay as I would like to explore film.
So please ignore my last post on canon Ql 17 and KAS2.

Re: OFFICIAL: CANON EOS 5D Mark III - User Thread - Part 3
Need help from fellow brother/sister ClubSnappers. I will be buying the 5D3 within the next week or two. I've checked the ClubSnap Price Guides but prices are about 4 months old... April seems to be the most recent price listed.
I understand that the price has dropped below $4000. Can anyone who has bought recently tell me where and at what price they paid for the 5D3 (body only)? I am still in Canada but will be in good ole Singapura by the end of the week! Can't wait!

Refer to last few pages. Think some people bought it recently with kit lens at 5200. Some bought body at 3999. Don't take it from me but if you search for these numbers you might be able to pull something out.
I can understand the excitement. The night before I bought mine I couldn't sleep.

Just bought one this evening at Cathay Photo. Its $3999 for body only. Deduct another 2% if paying by cash. Price likely to fall further in coming weeks.

Thanks for the info. What makes you think that prices will likely fall in the coming weeks?
