Thanks Yapster.. hehe.. she's really chio.. and she doesn't speak a lot..
hehe... that's what guys like rite? (the dao part)
haha.. alrite.. me should be dao too.. just like the doll i shot..
-dao look-
hehe..
guys are like girls.. 女人不dao 男人不爱![]()
Haha, human nature i guess. But once the challenge is complete for the guy/gal, the gal/guy will kinda suffer as the attention given to her/him will be different. So best is to be true la. No harm showing your true self rather than presenting yourself in another image. Becomes a bit fake liao.
Ok, i long winded again. Paiseh.![]()

Haha, sure do. But i am more of a street shooter. dunno how to write for macro. Portraits wise, maybe still can come up with some stuff.
Take a look at my Red Army CO, Cheesecake's stuff~
The Torment: Poem by Averral
You can do something like this for your dolls shots.
And to CO, HUAT AH!
i am very impressed by the colour and clarity and bokeh of this photo.
currently i am using nikon F60(non-digital) and AFD 105mm 2.8 macro.
using my len, bokeh is nice for macro shots. bokeh for full body shot(adult) is not so good. my len focus down to 0.314m and up to 3m, follow by infinity. what is the focusing scale on your len(125mm) like?
i understand there is nikon mount for Voigtl lens. is it as good as your pentax version?
i like the colour in your photos. is it because of your camera or your len?
i like the colour of the cat, wolf, hide and seek shots? any colour enhancement?

it's BnW with tone i think.. picasa.. :P
then i eye balled until i see the tone i like.. bingo.. there.. the tone..
oh.. if i crop to the right, i find that the 'fleeting' moments have nowhere to 'escape'
-giggles-
then the flower at the back would like slightly distracting.
what says ya? -smiles-
heehee.. shoot more shoot more..
=0)
erm... wow.. let me try to answer this to the best of my limited knowledge.
infinity (i think i read somewhere it's not the sharpest at infinity)
macro capabilities (1:1 max. magnification) @ 0.38m. The min. working distance is 19cm.

voigtlander 125mm f2.4 (right out of cam, resize only)
pentax 50mm f1.4 (right out of cam, resize only)
I'm sorry, I am not too sure about this, it should be the same. Voigtl has quite a good reputation so far and i do have another gal friend who uses Voigtl too, i'd see if i can get to link any of her pics to show ya
thanks for the kind views. i'd say that it's the camera. for m shots, i find that the blue and green tones are very nicely saturated.
this link shows pictures taken with K10D and voigtl 125mm
this is a picture taken without any PP, but i upped my in-camera saturation by one (i shoot mostly in jpeg these days, storage itself nearly killed me when i shot in RAW, so i selectively shoot in RAW)
taken with tokina 28-200mm + panagor mc tc (right out of cam, resize only)
your questions prompted me to post some of my pictures (without any PP) for you to compare and decide for yourself.
the wolf (it's actually a dog -smiles-)as you can see, i like to do colour plays and playing around with the tones and filters as well.
the exposure has been increased and i did a slight sharpening.
hide n seek
as for the pictures that you mentioned, i used picasa2 to do the edits sometimes when i just want to do a simple post processing.
hope i've answered your questions. -smiles-
finally, i'm done answering your queries..
this is the longest time i've spent replying a thread..
-giggles-
hmm...how did i miss lit' baby blondie? compo, colours, lighting, bokeh, sharpness....all perfect. the voigtl is one heck of a lens, but kudos to the photog for using it with great skill.![]()
